Project brief
Title: Dior illustration for the cover of Vogue
Project description: I have been asked to design a portrait illustration for vogue celebrating Dior’s iconic “new look” for the September 2019 issue.
Specifications: cmyk color, 300 dpi, page size 8”x11”
Budget: $5,000
Client sender: Vogue Magazine
Message: celebrate an icon of modern fashion
Audience: Vogue viewers and people who may just be interested in the special issue
Purpose/objectives: get people to purchase the September issue of Vogue even though it’s $10 instead of the regular $3.99, show the person in a different light than they are normally seen, to celebrate fashion history in a way that the magizine does not normally focus on
Potential solution: bold eye catching illustration of a fashion icon instead of a photograph of a pop culture person
