chapter 5: without an idea, what have you got?
this chapter was about concepts and how to convey then through your image. it talked briefly about how you have to do what the client asks and not what you feel, but most of it was visuals with short explanations to tell you what the concept was and how it was achieved.
likes: I liked the way this chapter was formatted because it made it easy to read and understand what a concept is. I also liked the blizzard 1995 concept and illustration. I think that it was the most successful one he has done because it caught my eye and made me want to know more.
diskiles: I did not like the lawyers illustration that he did because I don't think the concept was as clear as he thought he did. I don't see a snake skirting ethical issues in this, I see a performer keeping himself on stage because the Shepards crooks are used in media to try and pull someone off stage.
